[Concept – Design – Layout]

"Identity – The Inner Border" was a group exhibition at Pavlova hiša, a community center connecting Styrians from Slovenia and Austria, in Bad Radkersburg [AUT]. Therefore the catalogue contains three languages – German, Slovenian, and English. The exhibition dealt with the phenomenon of identity formation – which often takes place unconsciously and can only be consciously felt and experienced through external boundaries.
As a collection of loose paper sheets bound by metal rings the catalogue refers to everyday filing systems. Stored in an archive box it is the only remnant of the complete works composed in the exhibition – just like our documents will at some point be the only proof we ever existed.
